Violin op.35,
after A.Stradivari's "Titian" 1715

Instrument description

This violin is inspired by A. Stradivari's "Titian" from 1715. It was named after the painter Titian, thanks to its rich orange-red varnish reminiscent of the colours in his paintings. It ranks among the finest violins of the master's golden period.

In late May 2017, an international violin making competition was held in Prague. 36 violins based on the Antonio Stradivari model took part, and Oleg Semenukha's violin placed 12th. Among Czech participants, Oleg Semenukha was the third best.
