Instruments currently for sale from Oleg Semenukha's workshop — his own master violins, violas and cellos, as well as carefully selected and restored student instruments.
Alongside instruments built to order, Oleg Semenukha also offers other master instruments of his own for sale, as well as carefully selected student instruments that he has personally adjusted both aesthetically and tonally, given a new quality oil varnish, and completely fitted and set up in the workshop. The instruments are ready to play.
Viola op.75, after the Model of Nicolo Amati
A small master viola with a 38 cm body length — a body stop of 212 mm and a neck stop of 141 mm, likely about as small as viola scales commonly get. The instrument was inspired by Nicolò Amati's violin "Alard" — the maker essentially scaled the violin's shape up to viola size. He chose the Amati model deliberately for its high arching: on such a small instrument, this increases the internal air volume of the body, helping the viola sound as deep as possible.

Student cello. This cello is of factory-made origin. Violin maker Oleg Semenukha carried out a sound adjustment, applied new varnish in an antiqued finish, and performed a complete set-up and adjustment of the instrument. The bridge is stamped with the maker's mark. A handwritten label is glued inside the cello.

Violin maker Oleg Semenukha carried out a sound adjustment, applied a complete new varnish in a fresh style — as on a newly built instrument — and performed a complete set-up and adjustment of the instrument. The bridge is stamped with the maker's mark. A handwritten label is glued inside the viola.
