Instrument description

This violin was built to commission. It is inspired by Guarneri del Gesu's "Plowden" violin from 1735 — one of the most acclaimed and admired violins in existence today.

The body length is 353 mm. The instrument is finished with an oil varnish, made darker with a brownish tone at the customer's request.
