Violin op.34,
after Guarneri Del Gesu's "Leduc" 1745

Instrument description

This violin is inspired by Guarneri del Gesu's "Leduc" from 1745 — believed to be the very last violin the master ever made, completed in the year of his death. For over thirty years it was the favourite instrument of the Polish violin virtuoso Henryk Szeryng. Today it is on loan to the German-American violinist Augustin Hadelich.

Ondřej Bazala plays the violin.
