Violin op.67,
after Nicolo Amati's "Alard" 1649

This violin is inspired by Nicola Amati's "Alard" from 1649. It once belonged to the French violinist Delphin Alard, after whom it is named; today, like Stradivari's "Messiah", it is held at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford.

The body length is 350 mm, matching the original. The instrument is finished with an oil varnish with patina, giving it the impression of an older instrument. Ludmila Švancárová plays the violin.
